Race Director: Richard Bull
Richard is British and has lived in Nepal for over three years. He is a passionate trail runner himself and is the co-founder of http://trailrunningnepal.org, which
aims to promote local participation in trail running events, to bring more people to come and run in Nepal, and to support Nepal’s talented trail running athletes. Richard has also been part of the team organising the Annapurna 100 race, which is held in Pokhara every year and the first Manaslu Mountain Trail race in 2012.
Race Organiser: Dhir Priya
Dhir has been pivotal in opening up Manaslu for tea-house trekking and thus helping develop the tourism economy. He ran cooking training courses for tea-house owners from around Manaslu and Tsum and has also heavily supported the micro-hydro scheme in Samdo, which has brought light to this small remote village’s residents.
Dhir has great experience of organising and guiding successful treks and multi-stage races. Dhir speaks several languages well and is immensely knowledgeable about Buddhism, Nepal’s history and culture, and the wider Himalayan region in general.

Manaslu Mountain Trail gives 2 points towards UTMB Qualification

I wish that all the runners taking part will have an unforgettable time in Nepal, and enjoy the trail race to the full. Good Luck to everyone involved. I am sure that it will be a most successful event.
Great work guys! It takes vision and a lot of energy to create ultra trail races in Nepal. Looking forward to more fun in the mountains
